The Tap House 6th Annual Beer Street Social 

Location: 3rd Street 

Time: 5:30PM - 10PM

Rock the Block on Friday, May 4th from 5:00-10:30pm with The Tap house on Historic 3rd Street! Tacos, craft beer, JT and the Gunsligners, and Incognito starting at 5pm! Come get summer started out right and Rock the Block!! The event is free to the public!

The American Heart Association and members from across the Rochester community have teamed up to make a positive impact on the lives of women in Southeast Minnesota by raising funds for treatment and awareness to fight America’s number one killer of women, heart disease. Let's unite for Rochester's inaugural Go Red Gala, a night at the derby.

Rochester Craft Beer Expo

Location: Mayo Civic Center

Time: 3PM to 6PM (Early Admission at 2PM)

The 7th annual Rochester Craft Beer Expo will be held on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 from 3pm-6pm (Early Admission at 2pm). The expo will showcase the offerings of craft breweries here in Minnesota, as well as from across the United States. Attendees at the expo will have the opportunity to sample beers from over 40 different craft breweries in a commemorative sampling glass. In addition, enjoy educational seminars and live music. With brewery and distributor representatives on hand to answer questions, attendees will be able to have an enjoyable and educational experience learning about beer, its components and flavors.

A Run for the Roses Derby Party

Location: Bleu Duck Kitchen

Grab your bowties and bowlers, because Bleu Duck Kitchen is hosting a Derby Party! The party starts at 3:24 on the dot and we'll be watching all of the action on the big screen! $40 (per person) all-inclusive ticket includes:

  • Southern-style Derby food

  • Cocktail making class with Rochester's Best Bartender Paul Koerner

Free Family Day

Location: Rochester Art Center

Time: 1PM to 4PM

Save the date for the May Free Family Day at Rochester Art Center! Art activities and details will be announced soon. Since 2004, children and families have taken part in one of Rochester Art Center’s most popular and exciting programs, Free Family Day. The first Saturday of each month, admission to Rochester Art Center is free for everyone. Guests are invited to create original art pieces in the studio classroom, our Grand Lobby and occasionally off-site with a collaborative partner.
