Join in on the fun family fall activities Downtown during Fall-O-Ween! Get some extra wear out of the kids' costumes, and come Downtown on Halloween afternoon (October 31, 1-4pm)! Enjoy trick-or-treating inside businesses, searching for Scaredy Cat to win a prize, voting for your favorite pumpkin carving, and more fun activities!
Candy Crawl For Kids
Get more wear out of your kids' Halloween costumes by coming Downtown in the afternoon for some extra trick-or-treating in the shops!

Witches Brew Trail for Adults and Kids
Grab some friends and make your way through Downtown for a fun drink crawl! Downtown coffee shops, bars and cocktail lounges are serving up cozy and spooky-themed drinks.

Find Scaredy The Cat!
During Candy Crawl, keep your eyes peeled for Scaredy the Cat hiding in plain sight somewhere in Downtown. Just don't be tricked by the "copycats" along the way. When you spot Scaredy,
report back to the blue Rochester Downtown Alliance tent on Peace Plaza between 1-4pm to win a prize!

by the "copycats") and tell the blue RDA booth on Peace Plaza
where you saw him hiding to receive a prize! - When: October 31, 1-4pm
Pumpkin Carving Contest (Jack-O-Lantern Showcase)
Do you have a knack for carving pumpkins? Sign up for our carving contest! We don't just want your traditional jack-o-lanterns - the more creative, the better! If selected, your creatively carved pumpkin will be displayed in Downtown for passersby to vote on. Large pumpkins will be provided to carvers by RDA from Sekapp Orchard. If selected, you can pick your pumpkin up at the RDA office. First place will receive a $100 gift card, and second place will receive a $50 gift card.
- How to Apply: Apply by sending an email to events@downtownrochestermn.com by October 9
- When: Pumpkins will be displayed October 30-November 1 in Downtown storefront windows
- Prizes: 1st place wins a $100 gift card to the Downtown business of their choice, and 2nd place receives a $50 gift card
