Toast the Town on New Year's Eve!
Before we can start writing our New Year’s resolutions, we need to celebrate 2018 and all of the memorable moments it brought. Grab some champagne, put on your dancing shoes, and toast to another fabulous year; you deserve it! There’s no need to leave town on December 31 as many of Downtown Rochester’s best spots are hosting various New Year’s Eve specials and events.
Chester's Kitchen and Bar
Located in the heart of Downtown on the Peace Plaza, Chester’s Kitchen and Bar is already a hometown classic. Make a reservation for December 31 and try something different with their New Year’s Eve Special Menu. Reservations for the night begin at 3PM, so make sure to call early to secure your spot! Grand Rounds Brewing Company
If you’re looking for a great casual spot to ring in the New Year, check out Grand Rounds Brewing Company for taps and apps! From 4pm to 11pm grab all you can drink Grand Rounds Brewing Company beer and select appetizers, such as nachos, spinach artichoke wontons, and buffalo wings for $30. No reservations are needed, but head over early to grab a good seat.
Cameo at the Castle
Haven’t had a chance to visit one of Rochester’s newest restaurants, Cameo? Now’s your chance with Cameo at the Castle's New Year’s Eve 2018! From 5PM to 12AM choose from one of their exclusive three course or five course dinner menus, or indulge from their elegant a la carte menu. The Running Room
Head into the New Year full speed ahead as The Running Room hosts its annual Resolution Run on New Year’s Eve. The 5K run/walk begins at 5:30PM, and make sure to bring the little ones as there will also be a 1K Kids Fun Run. Don’t worry about the cool weather because each participant will receive a technical running jacket! Packet pick-up takes place at the Running Room Thursday, December 27 through Sunday, December 30. Marrow
Downtown Rochester’s newest hidden gem, Marrow, is one of the best underground spots to be on New Year’s Eve. Their NYE Chef's Dinner of 6 courses with complimentary champagne and party favors will bring in the New Year with culinary style. Choose your own wine from Tessa's Office with no corkage fee and pair your dinner at off-sale prices! Seating is limited, with the first seating at 5:30PM and the second seating at 9:30PM, so book early by clicking here. Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable.
Castle Community
Experience a traditional NYE celebration in an untraditional way at Castle Community with “Countdown at the Castle”. Live music from Minneapolis band Porcupine and DJs from Rochester’s Apollo Music Group will aid interactive art performances in Castle Community’s brand new state-of-the-art venue.
