Meet Ashley McKittrick with Dooley's Pub & Restaurant in downtown Rochester. Having been with Dooley's since day one, she worked her way up to general manager from waitressing to bartending to management.
About Dooley's Pub
Dooley's Pub & Restaurant opened in May 2010 creating more night life in downtown Rochester. We serve American food with plenty of televisions for your sporting needs all set in Irish backdrop. We have large spaces to accommodate groups and enjoy being a part of the community at Thursdays Downtown and SocialICE, and donating to local charities.
How do you balance your business and your personal life?
Having worked in the industry for about 20 years, one can tell when they need a break. I think it's best when that time approaches that you communicate that with your team. I'm grateful that I have people I can rely on to help out when I'm in need of a break.
What one thing have you learned that has served you well over the years?
One thing that I believe that has served Dooley's well is utilizing other small businesses. It's great to network with our customers and to be able to conduct some sort of business with them.
