Lights, cameras: Improv-ICE photo contest!

Update: Above freezing temperatures Wednesday, February 3 and Thursday, February 4 may feel good to us but are not favorable for keeping our ice sculptures from melting. So we are improvising—in true Improv-ICE fashion—and starting the winter experience Saturday, February 6 when conditions are ideal and end it February 14.

Get those cameras charged and attend Improv-ICE February 6-14 for a chance to win in the following photo contest!

ICE SCULPTURES

From iconic features like the Corn Tower to a clock tower to well-known architecture like the Plummer Building, the amount of Rochester subject matter will not be lacking in the Improv-ICE community ice sculpture, Celebrate RochMN, and the partner ice sculptures. So find your favorite element and get to snappin'!

ICE CURTAIN

You love it and it's coming back: the ice curtain! The cubes of ice reflect the light in beautiful ways to create a glistening and glorious photo opp. What cool and creative shots can you get? (We can't wait to see!)

TOGETHER LETTERS

Instead of the usual SocialICE letters, other oversized letters are coming to Improv-ICE with an inspiring message. The Together letters create the chance to be connected to the community and an opportunity to take its photo to share with the community through the #ImprovICE photo contest!
