On January 6, Governor Tim Walz announced in executive order 21-01 that bars and restaurants can operate for indoor dining at 50 percent capacity (cap of 150 people) and must close for on-site dining from 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. Outdoor dining is allowed at 50 percent capacity with a 100-person maximum and must close for on-site dining from 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. Take-out and delivery service between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. is permissible.
Rochester is a tight-knit community and are there for one another through thick and thin. The RDA is gathering ways of supporting downtown businesses while observing government recommendations and responses to COVID-19/coronavirus. When in-person dining, shopping, or frequenting businesses is not possible, please consult the list below for businesses offering delivery/take-out, gift cards, and/or online services in Rochester.
