In 2009, Newt’s branched out and opened Newt’s express, a quick service lunch counter located in the pedestrian skyway between University Square and the US Bank building known as the Odd Fellows building. The downtown workforce and many guests of the pedestrian skyway enjoy the same great burgers and fries that are served at the original Newt’s, located only a block away, as well as many other tasty menu items such as batter-fried fish, fresh salads, and other daily specials.
