The Essential Guide to Downtown Rochester's Ladies' Night Out

It's not just girls who wanna have fun: Ladies' Night Out March 26 presented by the Rochester Downtown Alliance is a good time for everyone! With more activities and experiences for every age and gender, plan your night out with this essential guide to the upcoming Ladies' Night Out in downtown Rochester.
Ladies' Night Out Kick-off
When: 5 to 9 p.m.
Where: 2nd floor of Castle Community
What: You’re comin’ out, so we’ll get this party started! And do we and our Ladies’ Night Out participating downtown businesses have an exciting and empowering evening planned.
Check in with us to pick up a Ladies’ Night Out punch card, complete with one complimentary punch, get a map of participating businesses for all the promotions, and the first 100 attendees to will get an exclusive Ladies’ Night Out shopping tote to take to Neon Green Studio to decorate before heading out for the great deals.
While at the Ladies’ Night Out kick-off, enjoy a complimentary appetizer or a cash-bar cocktail from Cameo’s pop-up bar and explore Katya Robert’s art exhibit in the Threshold Art Gallery. A new feature will be the Ladies’ Night Out connections board. Entrepreneurs, business owners, and any attendees are welcome to post a business card, flyer, or note to connect with others, to empower others, or to discover new businesses.

What: Close to 30 downtown Rochester businesses are welcoming you in and offering your exclusive Ladies’ Night Out specials. Frequent your favorite businesses or explore new ones. Check out the full list of participating businesses and their corresponding sales here.
While shopping or dining around, hand your Ladies’ Night Out punch card to the staff and for every $10 you spend, you’ll receive one punch. Find full details on how to turn your punch card into prizes below.
When: Varying times from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Various participating locations
What: Ignite a new passion, hone a skill, gain new perspective and have fun by dropping in to any of the unique experiences offered at no cost to LNO participants at various locations throughout the evening. Expand your horizons and hear from local experts in their field. Experiences include:
- "Being Direct in a Passive Aggressive Culture" by Natalie Slagle of Fyooz Financial Planning
- "Unlocking the Power of Networking" and "Creating a Killer First Impression" by Kim Purscell of Etiquette Matters and sponsored by Winona State University Adult and Continuing Education
- Creative Meet-Ups by Threshold Arts, Neon Green Studio, and Castle Community
- Latte Art Class by Café Steam (Doubletree location)
- Self-Defense Lessons by Patricia Young of 4Kicks Family Taekwondo
- "Finding More in Less" by Jodi Frisk

When: Pick up punch card from 5 to 8 p.m. at the kick-off or any participating business; return by 9 p.m. to Castle or The Maven, the Ladies’ Night Out After Party location
What: Use your official Ladies' Night Out punch card to turn your support of local businesses into chances to win tons of amazing prizes valued in total over $1,400!
Attendees will receive one punch per $10 spent in any participating business. Punch cards can be exchanged for raffle tickets at the Downtown Rochester booth located at the kick-off location until 9 p.m. or at the Ladies’ Night Out After Party at The Maven. What: Let the good times keep rolling at the Ladies’ Night Out After Party! Present your Ladies’ Night Out punch card to get in free or donate $10 to the Rochester Women’s Shelter for entry. Inside, you’ll be welcomed with refreshments of coffee and dessert, cash bar, and entertainment.

Where: Hotel Indigo
What: Turn in for the night without having to head all the way home. Make Ladies’ Night Out a true night out by reserving a room at downtown Rochester’s newest hotel: Hotel Indigo.
