Must-Eat Seasonal Treats at Fall Fest

Now that it’s officially fall, bring on seasonal treats, apple sweets, and pumpkin spice everything! Cozy warm beverages and hearty fall eats are delicious features of Fall Fest food vendors. Here are the must-eat seasonal treats all Fall Fest presented by Altra Federal Credit Union from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. October 5!

From Café Steam

Crisp fall air making you feel a little chilly? Warm up with a hot coffee from Café Steam! For those on the pumpkin spice bandwagon, try their house made version in espresso-based drinks like lattes or mochas. Café Steam caters to kids (or adults who prefer non-coffee beverages), too, with a cup of hot chocolate or local cider.

From Cameo at the Castle

What could be more comforting in fall than a bowl of chili? Cameo’s take on this autumn staple is vegetarian while still remaining hearty. Wash it down with a warm apple pie spiked cider. If more traditional fare is your fancy, try Cameo’s black truffle pomme frites (for lay people, these are Belgian-style french fries), chicken wings, and/or canned beers.

From Coldstone Creamery

If you think fall and ice cream aren’t companions, Coldstone Creamery has two fall flavors—honey cornbread and blackberry jam—that will make you reconsider! Kids can also mix up their own creation with the Boo Batter ice cream with assorted candy add-ins. Coldstone’s honey cornbread berry pies will get you in the food mood for fall, too!

From Daube’s Bakery

The tastes of fall come together with the vast variety of treats from Daube’s Bakery! Get fall favorites of mini maple longjohns, apple kolache (a fruit-filled sweet roll), carrot cake donuts, pumpkin cake donuts, caramel glazed burnt buttercream donuts, and apple fritters, among many other pastries and sweets.
