All that glitters is gold…and Roller Disco! On October 7 and 8, Broadway Avenue in downtown Rochester transforms into a groovy place to roller skate under the lights of the city and from a disco ball. Get down(town) for this joyful event that features all the following activities, food, and fun and new features!

What to expect from Roller Disco

Where can you find an outdoor roller rink with free skate rentals (or bring your own) and disco vibes? Roller Disco in downtown Rochester, of course! Just like the nostalgia of 70's/80's roller skating nostalgia, a DJ—perhaps a live band—will be playing that funky music to boogie down to throughout the event. New this year, the Twin Cities Skaters will provide slammin' entertainment in the form of performances and a class to teach newbie skaters how to roll on their wheels. Don't forget: the Downtown Rochester booth will have Roller Disco branded threads...we mean merchandise! Snap a photo in the #RollerDiscoRochMN photo booth to relive the disco memories for decades. Onsite food and beverages options

Want to get the lowdown on the food and beverages available at Roller Disco? Look no further! Grab a slice of cheese, 'roni (that's the short, cool term for pepperoni), or Bianca pizza from Pasquale's Neighborhood Pizzeria! What's more: Pasquale's will feature brightly-frosted cookies that will be a stellar dessert! Bleu Duck Kitchen will be serving up delicious eats like a Bleu Duck burger, craft grilled cheese, gourmet hotdogs, tacos, and eggrolls from its Duck Truck, and Kathy's Pub will be slinging drinks. Cotton candy and Italian water ice rounds out the roller rink vibes with items from Fuzzy's. Need somewhere to partake in all this? Enjoy seating within the Roller Disco event or nearby at The Deck. If you're looking to get off your feet for a bit longer indoors, check out the neighboring restaurants for additional bites and drinks.

Parking

Now that we have convinced you why you should come to Roller Disco, we will let you in on some insider tips! The closest parking to the rink is the 3rd Street Ramp, with a close second being the 2nd Street Ramp, though most of downtown Rochester's ramps are within a few blocks of Roller Disco. Right on!
