Downtown Has You Covered: Shop Face Coverings and Masks

On July 25, an executive order requiring face masks statewide in all indoor public spaces and businesses went into effect. If you are anything like us, this may have been the push you needed to accept that face coverings will remain an essential part of our everyday wardrobe for the foreseeable future. Luckily for us, downtown Rochester retailers have us covered when it comes to all of our masking needs.

In addition to taking measures to ensure customer and employee safety, many downtown Rochester retailers are offering different types of face masks. Adjusting to the "new normal" is easier when you can find a mask that feels comfortable for you-- and in colors and fabrics that have the potential to spark some joy too! Here is where you can find face coverings, masks, and other COVID-related care items downtown:

For Those Seeking a Variety of Styles: Hanny's*

Hanny's continues their tradition of excellent customer service and wide selection when it comes to their supply of face coverings too. From single-ply to-5 ply, solids, patterns, and novelty prints, you will be sure to find a face mask that meets your needs (prices ranging from $2-$15). They also offer neck gaiters/face guards in solid colors and novelty prints ($12-$14). Don't forget to pick up some personal hand sanitizer we well ($5.95)! Visit in-store to shop. They are offering free local delivery, curbside pickup, and special appointment accommodations (Call at 507-289-4077).

For Those Seeking Premier Safety: The Nordic Shop*

A shop that never fails to charm customers from near and far has found a product that is bound to do more than just delight and will keep you feel safe no matter where you travel to and fro. Helly Hansen created the highest rated personal mask available on the market, and The Nordic Shop is one of the few dealers in the U.S. that is carrying them. This mask allows for effortless breathing, provides bidirectional protection (protecting others from your breathing/protecting you from other's breathing), bacterial and viral protection. Plus, Helly Hansen is donating the proceeds from the sale of these masks to the international COVID-19 Research Fund. Available in black or white and comes in two sizes, and is reusable and washable ($15 each). Visit in store or shop online at https://www.thenordicshop.net/.

For Those Who Want to Look and Feel Great: Hers* and On Track Boutique*

Known for stocking great fitting clothing and on-trend accessories, both Hers and On Track Boutique offer customers a fabulous selection of comfortable face masks in assorted prints and solid colors ($10). Visit both/either store to experience their top notch customer service and leave satisfied and safe!

All Counterpoint stores provide the finest in contemporary design for all of your home, office, and clothing needs, and now, for your safety and health as well! They are selling face masks that come in a variety of colors, prints, and designs. All of their masks are from proud2support, who donates a minimum of 10-30% of their sales revenue to developmental projects for disadvantaged children and families all over the world. The masks consist of three protective filtering layers and include an adjustable nose wire and adjustable fastening mechanism to fit perfectly. Visit Counterpoint in-store to shop. Their website is currently down due to maintenance, however, you can find them on Instagram @counterpointstoresmn and on Facebook at Counterpoint Home, CP3 & Counterpoint II.

For Those Needing to Outfit The Whole Family: Tangerine Gifts*

Tangerine is billed as, "a place where nothing is taken too seriously". However, I have to disagree, because they have a seriously amazing selection of face coverings, masks, and care items for the whole family...and everyone on your gift list! Shop their enticing displays of masks for kids and adults in vibrant and cheerful colors, fun patterns, and hilarious graphics (think, "Old Guys Rule", unicorn pigs with rainbow hair and glasses, and "alcohol kills germs" wine bottles).
