This goose stands outside City Hall in Rochester as a tribute to the quintessential visitor to Rochester. We are privileged to have so many people from so many unique places pass through our city and I am proud of what Rochester has to offer them. I wanted to depict elements that make up the heart of the city like Mayo Clinic, IBM, public services, and arts communities as well as the everyday things and people that make our city work so well. I gave the goose a jaunty hat (as any tourist should have) and added map-like images to suggest travel. I have made Rochester my home and I have to say, that I do love Rochester. Honk!
