Details

Al Mannino and Lisa Ketterling helped us develop the concept for our goose. We needed a design that reflected Home Federal and its accessibility to the public. Something eye-catching. Something to which people could relate: the piggy bank. The coin and piggy head were made from a sculpting clay used in taxidermy. The other "add-ons" began as Styfoam and newspaper, then were covered and detailed with the same sculpting clay. Latex acrylic exterior paints were mixed together to get the "just right" piggy bank pink. The detailing and base were done with artist's acrylic paints. The goose's eyes are fashioned in a Japenese anime style.Al Mannino and Lisa Ketterling helped us develop the concept for our goose.
