In collaboration with Destination Medical Center, the Rochester Downtown Alliance is offering a total of $25,000 in the 2023 Start-Up Event Grant cycle for new events, activities, or programs that encourage community engagement throughout downtown Rochester.

Here are the general grant guidelines (more can be found on the Start-Up Event Grant web page here):

Additional priority given to projects located within alleyways, riverfront paths and public spaces, vacant/underutilized spaces, prominent intersections downtown, or public spaces like The Deck on 4th and Zumbro.

An additional $500 will be available to use toward design of promotional materials.
