Tangerine has been selling fun and happy for 20 years! We saw a need and scouted the gift shows to find our treasures. Every day, people laugh and enjoy their shopping experience. It is so rewarding and truly is a huge pat on all our backs.
What has been the biggest reward as a female entrepreneur?
My biggest reward is that our customers love our store. What greater compliment is that and the fact they tell us every day. If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.
What one thing have you learned as a small business owner that has served you well over the years?
Be unique and know who you are. Do the work yourself and stay true to that plan. Copying another store idea or merchandise is simply an easy way out and you will never get to experience what it is to be a success on your own.
