Previewing "Zootopia": Movies in the Park July 24
Try everything an outdoor movie experience has to offer at Movies in the Park presented by the Rochester Downtown Alliance and Altra Federal Credit Union! Here's a sneak preview of the film "Zootopia" and its themed food, beverages, and other fun July 24 at Central Park.
From Sahara Square to Tundratown, Zootopia is a thriving city, where animals—predator and prey—seem to live in harmony. All that changes when some of them start disappearing. Officer Judy Hopps is on the case to find the missing mammals and on a mission to prove to everyone she can be a good cop with the help of a wily fox named Nick Wilde. "Zootopia" is rated PG.
Party animal activities
The Movies in the Park themed activities start early enough (at 7:30 p.m.) that kids and families won't be turned tired from a Night Howler. Get your face painted like your favorite animal. Then take a pic in front of the "Zootopia" photo booth to capture the moment. (Make sure to tag us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter and use #MoviesinthePark!) Neon Green Studios' Pop-Up Art Cart will be filled with a themed activity for the little ones to enjoy. Hop on Kaptain Kirby's trackless train for a scenic view of Central Park just like in "Zootopia!"
Onsite food/beverage vendors
Our very own rainforest district (aka special service district) businesses Carroll's Corn and Café Steam will be at Movies in the Park providing you with delicious movie snacks and film-themed beverages before and during the flick. Don't forget about the Movies in the Park branded popcorn bucket you can refill for $5.
Reserve your space
People have gone "wilde" for the showing of "Zootopia" that we increased the tickets available for attendance! Reserve your space here before the event is sold out.
