About the Artist

Jeff Anderson

Anderson Memorial is a four-generation sculpting legacy.

Jeff Anderson and his forefathers have made southern Minnesota into something extraordinary.

Their fingerprint is on every carved piece of stone that is in Saint Mary's Hospital,The Rochester Mayo Clinic, the Plummer Building, Soldiers Field War Memorial and around the world. They started their journey in 1870. The location of their first production facility is now known as the City Cafe and Newts on 1st Avenue between 2nd and Historic 3rd Streets SW.

From the stone lettering on the Mayo Clinic to the gargoyles protecting the city of Rochester, the four generations of Anderson Memorials have set the standard for creating public sculptures and memorials for the people we love.
