What to look forward to for 2023 RDA programs
ROCHESTER, Minn.—While 2022 is coming to an end, the Rochester Downtown Alliance is announcing its 2023 program and event dates.
“As always, we’re excited to bring another great calendar year of programs to downtown Rochester,” said Holly Masek, RDA executive director. “If you haven’t been downtown in awhile, here are some of the many reasons to come back, have a great experience, and explore our neighborhood in 2023.”
- Clean and Safe Ambassador Program: Daily services January through December
- Start-Up Event Grant pitch night: January 11
- Social-ICE: February 24-25
- Social-ICE FAM JAM: February 25
- Games on the Go: May through October
- The Deck activations: twice a month May through October
- Fresh Air Fitness: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from May 15 through September 16
- Pop-Up Art Cart: Tuesdays and Fridays from May 16 through September 15
- Sidewalk Sessions: Tuesdays and Fridays from May 16 through September 15
- Thursdays Downtown: every Thursday from June 15 through August 17
- Roller Disco: September 22-23
- Dogs Downtown: October 14
- Here Comes Santa Claus: November 25
- Small Business Saturday: November 25
Throughout the year, the RDA staff provides services like general marketing campaigns, façade improvement grants, data collection, information sharing, and advocacy in support of its downtown stakeholders.
