The Most Wonderful Time of the Year is Almost Here

ROCHESTER, Minn.—Kick off the holiday season with Hiawatha Homes’ Festival of Trees in partnership with the Rochester Downtown Alliance!

Take a stroll through downtown Rochester and view more than 80 uniquely decorated trees. This winter wonderland will be lit up each night from 4:30 to 10 p.m., November 22 to November 28, 2021.

This celebration will begin with the Opening Night Gala November 23 at Mayo Civic Center. The evening will be filled with opportunities for you to help further Hiawatha Homes’ mission: fund-a-dream, silent and live auctions, the Gift Thyme Shoppe, and more! Tickets are on sale now at

The Festival of Trees will not only feature fully decorated trees from local community members but will also have opportunities for the whole family to get involved. Family Day November 27 will feature awareness demonstrations on different abilities, craft kits, treats, entertainment, and more!

While downtown November 26 for Festival of Trees, participate in the Here Comes Santa Claus event from 4 to 8 p.m.! This event features "Santa's Magical Workshop," appearances by Santa & Mrs. Claus, the daring Santa rescue atop Old City Hall, tree lighting ceremony in Peace Plaza, and more!

The Festival of Trees is a long-standing, holiday event that has been the signature fundraiser for Hiawatha Homes since the 1980s and has raised more than $4 million. The success of this event is attributed to the generous support of the local community.
