The City of Rochester and Destination Medical Center (DMC) continue to advance the work of the future Rochester Rapid Transit corridor, which will run along 2nd Street SW and South Broadway Avenue. Building upon open houses held on February 4, 2020, the City of Rochester and DMC will host an online “Open House” during the month of April. This virtual format will allow the public to learn more about proposed station locations and studies of their surrounding areas.

During this next open house, the project team will present suggested transit station locations and studies of their surrounding areas. Each area study will include options for future changes and growth, including open space, bike routes, pedestrian connectivity and street design improvements.

Due to the current situation with COVID-19 and a commitment to maintaining social distancing, the virtual format was developed to encourage and allow the ongoing engagement of community members. The project team thanks everyone for their flexibility and willingness to adapt in an ever-evolving time of change.
