Art Heads Live: Sprig of That // Annie Enneking // An Upcycled Closed // Choochoo-ca-chew Join the Rochester Art Heads as we celebrate Spring with Minneapolis-based Sprig of That and Annie Enneking. Come hungry, there will be bites by Choochoo-ca-Chew. Shop locally-sourced vintage and repurposed goods by An Upcycled Closed! SPRIG OF THAT Sprig of That is Isabel Dammann on violin, Ilan Blanck on guitar, and Krissy Bergmark on tabla. The trio combines folky, vibrant Americana, fiddle tunes, and rhythmic textures to form a surprisingly natural acoustic blend. ANNIE ENNEKING Annie Enneking is lover and a fighter. She writes songs about having a body at a particular place in time. She fronts and founded the searing, mischievous rock band Annie and the Bang Bang, and, as a more mellow, acoustic-based singer-songwriter, gets to the heart of the matter on albums like WHAT I WANT NOW I WILL WANT LATER and LYNDALE & 24th, where everything is spare and true and hurts just right. CHOOCHOO CA CHEW Tiffany is a travel enthusiast who cooks too much according to modern standards. She's passionate about sharing food from home (Taiwan) with the world. There is so much about Taiwanese Food- the people, the history and the stories. Hopefully CHOOCHOO-ca-CHEW will give you a little insight on what Taiwan is like through food. She recreates authentic recipes from scratch with local farmers market finds that you can easily recreate in your own kitchen! AN UPCYCLED CLOSET An Upcycled Closet’s mission is to supply you with secondhand items that are sourced to be functional, sustainable, and expressive. Lauren is a staunch believer in buying used, mending it, making it, and doing it yourself. She started An Upcycled Closet in 2016 and she hopes her shop inspires others to do the same and providse a helpful platform to do so affordably and easily. Tuesday, May 28th. $10. Doors at 6:30, Music at 7. All ages.
