Rochester Art Center Open Studio

Tap into creativity at the Rochester Art Center!

Drop in for an entree of creative projects or bring your own supplies and projects to the Rochester Art Center! Open Studio offers a community space for informal arts exploration. It’s a great place to meet other creatives and art enthusiasts and experiment with different ideas and mediums.

Cost: Open Studio hours are included with regular daily admission; Members and youth (21 and under) are invited to participate at no cost. Youth ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

*NO Open Studio on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Schedule subject to change.

FAQ

What if I don't have a current project, but want to explore my creativity and meet people?
Awesome! You're welcome to drop in. Rochester Art Center will always have a variety of projects available for exploration.

Can I bring my hand-sewing projects, knitting or cross stitch? Can I bring beading supplies? Can I bring my own tablet for drawing?
Yes! Absolutely.

Can I store my supplies and projects at the Art Center?
Sorry, we are unable to store personal belongings. Any items left in the studio will be brought to the front desk lost & found and discarded if not claimed after a week.

Is there a clay studio to work in?
Rochester Art Center does not have an on-site dedicated clay studio or kiln. Contact our friends at 125 LIVE or RCTC to find out more information about their clay studios in the Rochester Area.

How much are Memberships to the Rochester Art Center?
Memberships start at just $40 for a full year of access to the arts! Members enjoy discounts to select ticketed programs, free admission all year, an invitation to our annual Member Patio Party + more!
