Many people ask, what is the Festival of Trees like? Imagine this, a stroll through downtown Rochester with a cup of cocoa in hand. While you stroll, you seek out uniquely decorated trees displayed in the storefront windows. Throughout the week, you will also have the chance to join us with your friends and family as we host virtual and smaller in-person event programming. Bottom line – you’ll be in the holiday spirit at first sight!

If you’re familiar with a non-pandemic Festival of Trees, it will be quite different. This format will allow our volunteer planning committee to ensure a great event and avoid pivoting due to unexpected pandemic curveballs. The Foundation elves are hard at work on the details, so please stay tuned.

The trees will be available for the public to view throughout Downtown Rochester. A digital map will be made available November 22.
