Jennifer Grimm grew up on the road, singing across the country with her family’s variety act during the first thirteen years of her life. After settling in the Twin Cities as a teenager, she attended public school for the first time while continuing to perform with her mother, Colleen Raye.
While earning a degree in Mathematics from Augsburg University, Jennifer performed with 10-piece funk bands, theater and cabaret productions, and as a featured vocalist with Augsburg’s Gospel Praise ensemble. She later launched a solo career, appearing locally alongside artists including Garrison Keillor and Debbie Duncan, as well as performing in New York City, Europe, and the Caribbean. With success in both radio and recording at home and abroad, Jennifer continues to make the Twin Cities her home base.
