Art Heads Live: EHN JEY // MAXEE // NYASIA EHN JEY EHN JEY is a multifaceted recording artist constructing his take on R&B for the next generation. JEY’s journey has taken him from small town Minnesota to sharing stages with national touring acts (Aminé, Kiana Ledé), as well as accruing Midwest acclaim for work under his previous moniker (Best New Band, Best R&B Artist). His ambitious artistic vision is best displayed with his new single “U Don’t Love Me (feat. The Nunnery).” It’s a minimal, vulnerable offering that showcases JEY’s abilities as a songwriter, vocalist, and producer. The accompanying one-take visual builds on JEY’s innate strengths as a choreographer, mover, and even as a live performer. With a level of precision and honesty, JEY embodies what the world desires: something that is raw, real, moving — and ultimately — leaves you wanting more. https://ehnjey.com/ https://www.instagram.com/ehn.jey/ https://twitter.com/ehnjey https://www.facebook.com/ehnjeyofficial MAXEE Maxee Whiteford is a Minneapolis based Korean-American vocalist, songwriter, and producer who creates to nourish the soul. Inspired by Ariana Grande, Kehlani, and Jhene Aiko, she believes that music and art can create human connection like nothing else. Using her voice and her pen to illustrate her passion, Maxee melds pop and R&B sonically and brings it to life onstage. After performing around the Twin Cities supporting locally acclaimed EHN JEY (fka Nick Jordan) for the past six years, Maxee is moving forward with her debut EP Touch available now. https://www.maxeewhiteford.com/ https://www.instagram.com/maxeewhiteford/ https://twitter.com/maxeewhiteford https://www.facebook.com/maxeewhitefordmusic/ NYASIA Nyasia is a multifaceted artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota. With “her R&B-smooth vocals” (The Current) and raw unapologetic writing style, she’s described as a “pretty darn impressive rising star.” (The Scroll) Nyasia has performed all over the Twin Cities, as a solo act and as a background singer, and has even opened for national acts. She’s currently recording her debut project that will be released in 2019. Friday, May 24th, 10:30 pm $7 All Ages
