Costumed Figure Drawing at Rochester Art Center
Wednesday, October 15, 2025 | 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Discover the art of drawing from life in these open sessions, welcoming artists and enthusiasts ages 18+, from beginners to experienced sketchers. Each session features a live model in costume—offering a variety of poses to inspire your work. We’ll start with short, energetic gesture poses to warm up, then move into longer holds for deeper observation and detail.

What to bring
Your own paper pad and favorite drawing materials (oil paint is not permitted). We provide easels, drawing horses, and a welcoming space designed for creative focus. Headphones and water bottles are welcome. Please note: no photography is permitted. Doors open at 5:45 PM to allow participants time to settle before the session starts.

Your registration directly supports the live model and the mission of the Rochester Art Center—YOUR community non-profit for connection, creativity, and the arts.

Registration
Advance registration is required due to limited space—these sessions often sell out. No refunds or exchanges. If you cannot attend, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance to allow others on the waiting list to participate. Questions? Email us at: info@rochesterartcenter.org.
