ALTRA 5K & PRIDE EDITION 5K
Friday Evening | Downtown Rochester, MN
Kick off Med City Marathon weekend with the Altra 5K, an energetic evening run through the heart of downtown Rochester! This unique 5K features a city course that finishes in a full-blown street party on 1st Ave and 3rd St—closed off just for the celebration.
As an option, included in the festivities is the PRIDE Edition 5K, a special partnership with Rochester PRIDE promoting unity, visibility, and community through movement. Runners who register for the PRIDE run will receive a limited-edition MCM x PRIDE hoodie, with proceeds supporting local LGBTQ+ initiatives.
Cross the finish line and head straight into the action: enjoy live music from nortwoods funk group, Salty Dog, local vendors, food trucks, drinks, and a vibrant crowd at the FREE Med City Block Party Festival, open to all.
