Ten weeks of Thursdays Downtown starts in seven days
ROCHESTER, Minn.—Downtown Rochester’s art, music, food, and community festival, Thursdays Downtown, kicks off a 10-week run June 16 to downtown Rochester.
New and returning market vendors
From handmade works of art and jewelry to scratch-made foods and beverages, Thursdays Downtown features approximately 100 vendors throughout Peace Plaza and 1st Avenue Southwest. For a list of vendors that will be onsite weekly, view the Thursdays Downtown interactive vendor map here.
Weekly entertainment
With performances three times a day on the Peace Plaza stage presented by Rochester International Airport and on the 1st Avenue stage presented by Altra Federal Credit Union for 10 dates, Thursdays Downtown provides a total of 60 performances from local and regional musicians throughout the season. New features
New to Thursdays Downtown in 2022 is the Mayo Clinic family nook on the east side of Peace Plaza as a place for all-ages family fun. While activities will vary each week, those who come to the June 16 Thursdays Downtown can experience an LED gaming wall, face painting, balloon animals, rubber duckies to float in the Heart of the City skrim pool, arts, crafts, and more.
Thursdays Downtown includes a weekly artisan and food vendor market, live music on two stages throughout the day every Thursday from June 16 to August 18. Event hours are 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Thursdays Downtown draws 15,000 to 20,000 people per week to downtown Rochester.
