Social-ICE and FAM JAM filled with winter fun February 24-25

ROCHESTER, Minn.—For the first time since 2020, Social-ICE and its family-friendly day, FAM JAM, presented by the Rochester Downtown Alliance returns to turn downtown Rochester into an icy oasis Friday and Saturday.

Despite the winter weather predicted for Rochester in the days leading up to Social-ICE, RDA staff is not anticipating any impact to the event itself. Staff will continue to monitor weather conditions for Social-ICE set-up and, with the requirements by its contractors in mind, will adjust as needed.

Social-ICE attendees can look forward to the following planned activities February 24-25:

  • Six themed bars and specialty cocktails
  • Non-alcoholic beverages and food by Café Steam, Corona’s Tacos, and B-Lo Zero Sno Cones and Minnie Donuts
  • Live nightly DJs

  • Games like giant Jenga and a giant interactive Lite Brite™
  • Mini golf by Jolly Jumpz
  • Photo opportunities like a retro ski lift photo booth experience by Altra Federal Credit Union, giant Social-ICE letters, the Wall of ICE, and more than 15 unique ice sculptures
