FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New and tried-and-true activities for seventh annual Dogs Downtown

ROCHESTER, Minn.—Many new and returning activities are planned for the seventh annual Dogs Downtown presented by the Rochester Downtown Alliance and Subaru of Rochester September 17.

New to this year’s Dogs Downtown activities are dog caricature artists drawing portraits of pets and their humans. Returning attractions include the pop-up dog park, agility course, and ball pits for dogs and live music, a photo booth, the Bleu Duck Truck, and a variety of other vendors for the public. Except for items purchased at vendor booths, all activities at Dogs Downtown are free.

“Every year this event grows in popularity. Even if you’re not a dog owner, it’s worth attending to see the community come together over this beloved and joyful celebration of pets,” said Holly Masek, RDA executive director.

Dogs Downtown runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. September 17 in Peace Plaza.

Visit the Dogs Downtown web page and follow Downtown Rochester, Minnesota on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as more Dogs Downtown 2022 details are announced.
