Kraus-Anderson is the first blog in our partnership series for Thursdays on First & 3rd. In the following weeks, we will be highlighting all of the partners that make this event possible. Thursdays on First & 3rd has grown into an extremely successful event that is popular and well-attended, and has great name recognition with the entire community. We are proud to be a part of Downtown Rochester, and when we were planning an event for our clients and business partners, Thursdays on First & 3rd was a perfect fit.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
We have been shaping the Rochester landscape for 50+ years. KA built landmarks such as the Rochester International Airport, Miracle Mile Shopping Center, University Square, Centerplace, and 318 Commons. KA officially established an office in Rochester in 2012, and since then we have grown our local staff of over 50 construction professionals, and have completed about 50 projects in southern Minnesota, including several within Downtown Rochester. KA is honored to be not only a part of shaping Rochester’s history, but in its current transformation. In an illustration of this, KA is building the new Miracle Mile multi-family mixed-use building at the site of the shopping center KA originally built in 1952. We take pride in truly living our core purpose of building enduring relationships and strong communities. Our staff of 50+ construction professionals live, work and play in their local communities, and we give time and resources to many deserving organizations. Some of the organizations we support include Minnesota Children’s Museum, Season’s Hospice, Boys & Girls Club, Ronald McDonald House, Gift of Life Transplant House, and Rochester Community and Technical College Foundation.
