Movies in the Park: Brighten Up Your Night with Coco
Movies in the Park is a four-part outdoor movie experience presented by the Rochester Downtown Alliance and Premier Bank Rochester featuring activities, film-inspired food and drink, and a movie nestled in string-lit Historic Central Park. This time, we will feature a night inspired by the award-winning favorite, Coco. Play, dine, and watch a movie under the stars with us!
BRIGHTEN UP THE NIGHT
Let the music feed your soul as Movies in the Park showcases Coco at Central Park on Saturday, August 18th. Come on down at 7pm for a Dia de los Muertos inspired craft, face painting, and food! Settle into your seats when the movie begins at 9pm. We’re sure you won’t want to miss this fun family night-out before school starts!
COLORFUL CREATIONS
Our free pre-movie activities, brought to you by Charter House, will be sure to add liveliness that adults and kids alike will be able to enjoy. Help your child create their very own Dia de los Muertos paper lantern craft and take part in illuminating Central Park. Face painting will also be available to help let your child’s creativity shine! Our popular Games On The Grass cart will make a special appearance again, so make sure to look inside for games galore.
AUTHENTIC TASTES
The Loop Rochester is serving up Coco-creations! Stop by their tent to grab build your own nacho plate, or grab a taco or two. Sip on Mama Coco’s Nectar while you enjoy your meal. Their specialized menu will be available for purchase beginning at 7pm.
SETTLE IN TO THE BEAT
Now that you’ve had some fun and grabbed a bite to eat, it’s showtime! Grab your Carroll’s Corn popcorn, while supplies last, before the movie begins at 9pm and settle in to one of our inflatable pools for lounging. Bring out the whole family to help us celebrate the end of summer with this fan-favorite film on Saturday, August 18th.
