Insider's Guide to SocialICE 2019
It’s almost February, which means something big in Downtown Rochester is on its way - SocialICE! Join 50,000 of your closest friends and head to the Peace Plaza February 7, 8, & 9 for an icy experience fit for true Minnesotans. This year, we have seven uniquely themed ice bars serving signature drinks while nightly DJs and activities help to keep you on your toes. ENTERTAINMENT
Our DJs, Minnesota and internationally known, will energize the crowd with a mix of hits and classics spun with talent and skill that only a live DJ can. If that isn’t enough, their visually-stunning DJ booth is fully dressed in special-effects lighting and pixel-mapped LED screens.

WARMING STATIONS
Visit ‘The Clubhouse’, our giant igloo warming house, presented by Somerby Golf Club, to warm up on the west side of the Peace Plaza. Mingle with friends inside the igloo, play a vintage arcade game, or grab a bite to eat at their tent nearby. Thanks to Kraus-Anderson, head to the fire pits to warm up under the stars and special effects. Is the east side of the event your spot? The Rochester Area Builders are hosting a decked out party pergola complete with heat lamps and bench seating.
PHOTO CONTEST
Win big at #SocialICE with our annual SocialICE photo contest! We will have three different photo categories to choose winners from: photo of an ice bar, photo with giant SocialICE letters, and a general event photo. Six lucky winners will each be receiving a $50 gift card - that's $300 in giveaways!

PARKING
Downtown Rochester offers several parking options both on the street and in city ramps. Street parking and city ramps (excluding Mayo Clinic ramps) are free after 5PM, and on holidays and weekends (no overnight parking). Click here for more information. The Rochester Downtown Alliance encourages all to plan a sober ride to and from the event.
