Sometimes life is measured by the small moments. The times that you have with friends or family while enjoying a simple activity can sometimes become some of the most memorable moments. At the Rochester Downtown Alliance (RDA) we understand that these experiences, however small, can influence how we feel about the space and place we live.
Because of this, RDA has been focused on creating passive activities for both residents and visitors. Passive activities, such as Games on the Grass, provide the opportunity to have fun and interact with others over a lunch break, in between dr. appointments, or during a break from class that many ages can relate to.
Below is a sampling of the games you will see in the Peace Plaza from May 7 - October 31!
12’ Parachute (remember those?)
Ribbon Wands (peep this fun ad from 94’!)
Plus, many more!
We hope to introduce you to some new games and provide the opportunity to make some fun memories over the classics! We also hope you enjoy this program, and get as much enjoyment from Games on the Grass as we had creating it!
Be sure to head down to the Peace Plaza on Monday, May 7 at 11:00 AM for our Games on the Grass kick-off event to play fun minute-to-win-it games for prizes! Thank you to our Co-Partner Destination Medical Center (DMC) and Games Partner University of Minnesota Rochester for their support.
