Less well know is that the inflammation of <span class="caps">RA</span> may extend beyond the joints, causing damage to organs including the skin, eyes, lungs, heart, blood and blood vessels. The systemic inflammatory process is a major predictor of premature death in patients with <span class="caps">RA</span>, particularly from cardiovascular disease. We explore these disease features and their causes and management in this seminar. Instructor: Eric L.
