"Wine Down" Wednesdays

This week’s Wine Down Wednesday is focused on Ros� wines that have long been aquainted with the dog days of summer and provide a perfect backdrop to many of summer’s greatest food fare. Working to overcome their tainted reputation of being super sweet, “intro” wines, a true Ros� is often off-dry to dry in nature and displays appropriate fresh fruit flavors that lean toward the strawberry and raspberry side of the fruit spectrum. Live music will be played from 5 – 7pm and small plate offerings to pair with the night’s wines will be featured.

The Spectrum High School Choir and Chamber Choir are excited to visit Rochester and share some of their spring repertoire. They will be performing an assortment of numbers from different genres and hope that you will have the opportunity to come out and hear them perform.

Spectrum High School is a public charter school located in Elk River, MN. Are charter is focused on College Prep, Technology, and Community Service. They were established in 2006 and are sponsored by the Volunteers of America. In 2007 when it first opened its doors, they had 67 students; today they are a school of 400 and are on track to enroll 525 next year.

We invite you to come and listen to an outdoor presentation in the Peace Plaza on Friday over the lunch hour!
