Thursdays on First & 3rd Partner Series with The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota

Seizures and epilepsy are more common than you think. The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota (EFMN) improves the understanding of epilepsy through regional education programs and public awareness efforts. During Thursdays on First & 3rd, The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota is able to increase awareness about these conditions while connecting with and educating the Rochester community.

Thursdays on First & 3rd would not be possible without the support of businesses in the Rochester community. Thanks to the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota and our numerous other partners, we bring musicians, artists, craftspeople, and restaurateurs together, uniting residents and visitors alike.

MEET THE EPILEPSY FOUNDATION OF MINNESOTA

Did you know 1 in 10 people will have a seizure in their lifetime and 1 in 26 will develop epilepsy? The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota improves the understanding of epilepsy through regional education programs and public awareness efforts. They work closely with individuals affected by epilepsy, offering programs for people of all ages. Their Information and Referral services are available 24/7. They also offer free Seizure First Aid training to schools, workplaces and other public spaces.

ABOUT THURSDAYS

The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota invites you to stop by their booth on the Peace Plaza to pick up information on epilepsy and find out how easy it is to make a donation of used clothing. They would love to meet you!

COMMUNITY

EFMN offers summer camps for youth with epilepsy and is adding a new regional camp at Camp Victory on July 28th. Their annual Rise Above Seizures Walk will take place on August 2nd at the Rochester Eagles Club. Their Used Clothing Donation Program is an important source of funding for our programs.
