Thursdays on First & 3rd is quickly becoming a downtown Rochester summer tradition. With its unique selection of artisan vendors, delicious street eats, and energetic live entertainment, our partners like Winona Sate University Rochester team up with the Rochester Downtown Alliance to make Rochester's summer tradition possible.
This week, WSU Rochester will be at Thursdays on First & 3rd showing their support for building a vibrant downtown community and educating attendees on what they bring to the table. Take a look at what they have to say about being a part of Thursdays on First & 3rd, and visit their booth during the evening performances near the First Ave Stage...they usually have some cool stuff to hand out too!
"Winona State University-Rochester and Rochester Community and Technical College are excited to be part of Thursdays on First. WSU-Rochester and RCTC have EACH been a part of Rochester for nearly 100 years! Visit the RCTC and WSU-Rochester #ThursdaysOnFirst booth and learn more about 'Path to Purple' and how you can complete your 2-year degree, 4-year degree and even a master's degree - all in Rochester. Our booth is located by the 1st Avenue band stage. Stop by after 5 pm on July 2nd and August 6th to spin the wheel and win a prize!
"Did you know that RCTC was founded on a motion by Dr. Charles Mayo 100 years ago? RCTC first opened its doors to 17 students in September of 1915. Today we are the largest college in Rochester and celebrating 100 years of serving generations of students from Rochester and around the world. As a community college, RCTC is a proud supporter of community events like Thursdays on First & 3rd. What a great way to reconnect with so many of RCTC’s current students and alumni!
