Kick-Off Your Summer with Games on the Grass!
The Games on the Grass kick-off event is only one week away on May 7 and we’re excited to give you the scoop on this summer’s hottest new program!
Games on the Grass will feature a branded game cart in the grassy area of the Peace Plaza, which will contain a myriad of lawn games and board game pieces. There will also be tables and chairs near the Peace Plaza fountain topped with a game board decal. All games will be available for the public to use free of charge in the months of May to October.
Be sure to mark your calendar for the kick-off event on Monday, May 7 at 11:00 AM on the Peace Plaza! This free event will have different minute-to-win-it style games for prizes, which include sunglasses, frisbees, and up to 75 free hot dogs from Murph’s Hot Dog cart. What better way to welcome summer than sun, grass, games, and hot dogs!
Also, stay tuned later this week for when we announce the contents of our Games on the Grass cart. There are sure to be some new games to surprise you, along with classic games you know and love!
