Parking
Rochester strives to make downtown accessible. Parking is free after 5 p.m. on weekdays and free all day on weekends.
Parking Meters
- Free after 5 p.m. weekends and all-day weekends
- Enforced 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday except the following holidays; New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
- On-street parking is prohibited on most downtown streets from 2 a.m. until 6 a.m. Visit the City of Rochester's website for details.
Parking Ramps (see list below)
- Free after 5 p.m. weekdays and 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. on weekends
- Enforced for an hourly rate outside of those time frames
- All City ramps are connected through an indoor pedestrian skyway
- Parking prohibited in most ramps from 2:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. Visit the City of Rochester's website for details.
Covered Bicycle Parking
- Free covered bicycle parking in downtown’s city-owned parking ramps
- Rentable bicycle lockers in the 3rd St Ramp and Ramp 6 through BikeSpot. Contact SP+ at rochesterparking@spplus.com to check rates and availability.
