A: We have great service, expertise, and knowledge of the shoe business, not just the shoes. We try to make you feel at home.
We have new lines of shoes, new people and young ideas. We’ve got what customers say they want.
Q: Anything special you’d like a patron to know?
A: We have a great location. We’re next to the Mayo Clinic.
Q: What’s the best way to get to O & B Shoes on foot from downtown?
A: We consider our location to be the heart of downtown. We’re next to Peace Plaza and Barnes & Noble. One block east of Mayo.
Q: Where should a person park?
A: Use the Center Street ramp or the Civic Center ramp. Of course there’s free parking after 5pm and on weekends.
Q: What is one particular thing you want people to know about O & B Shoes?
A: We are an independent shoe store that’s been in business since 1933. Over the years we’ve built a reputation based on size, selection and service. We listen to our customers and employees and have made changes appropriately.
Q: Do you have discounts or specials?
A: We sell brand-name shoes that are sold all over the U.S. at the suggested retail price. What makes us unique is the size, selection and service you’ll find at O&B. What else is there?
Q: What is one thing O & B Shoes has that can’t be found everywhere?
A: When you come into O & B Shoes, we still measure your foot. You get the assurance we know what we’re doing. And we are confident that by taking the time to make sure you have the right shoe, you’ll be back to shop one day.
Q: What do you provide to the community of Rochester?
A: We welcome all guests to Rochester. We invite you to look around, and then to make yourself at home. By visiting our store you can learn the good taste of Rochester and know that you’re welcome.
Q: What is one interesting fact about O & B Shoes that more people should know?
A: We are an independent shoe store and we’re doing very well. We’re getting better not bigger. We have become well established over the years and we’ll continue with our achievements.
Q: How long has O & B Shoes been in Rochester?
A: The first O&B Shoes store opened in 1933 in the “Shoe Alley” on Broadway – a cluster of shoe stores. In 1946 we moved to our present location.
