Q: What would encourage someone to dine at Bilotti’s?

A: We want to be your home away from home. We want every customer to feel comfortable whether they’re dressed up or casual. Bilotti’s has been on the same corner for 52 years, and was the first place in downtown Rochester to feature pizza.

Q: Anything special you’d like a patron to know?

A: Our quality exceeds our pricing. We have wine and beer. When you’re at Bilotti’s you’ll have a lot of fun.

h6.Q: What’s the best way to get to Bilotti’s on foot from downtown?

A: We are located 2 blocks south of the Mayo Clinic on First Avenue and Third Street.

Q: Where should a person park?

A: We have some limited street parking. And there’s a public parking ramp right across the street on First Avenue.

Q: Where is your favorite seat in the restaurant?

A: A booth seat next to the cashier to be where the action is.

Q: What is one particular thing you want people to know about Bilotti’s?

A: Bilotti’s is a place people can feel comfortable at any time. With our expansion, we can now easily accommodate the noon crowd and provide better access to our handicapped friends.

Q: Do you have discounts or special events?

A: We have daily lunch and dinner specials that are the same every week. We also have specials on New Year’s Eve, Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, etc.

Q: What are some things Bilotti’s has that can’t be found everywhere?

A: We are very proud of the ambience. I believe it gives a true impression of a restaurant you might find in Italy.

Q: What do you provide to the community of Rochester?

A: Fast friendly service and quality food at a reasonable price.

Q: Are there some interesting facts about Bilotti’s that more people should know?

A: We give a lot back to the community and to the schools, with charities and benefits.
The Bilotti’s building was formerly a Deering implement dealer selling reapers & mowers. After the dealership it became an eatery called City Café.

Q: Any interesting facts about Karla Sperry that more people should know?

A: Karla moved from Marshalltown, IA in 1981. She’s been in the food business for 28 years. She swims 1 mile every morning at the YMCA. “A mile a day at the YMCA.”

Q: How long has Bilotti’s been in Rochester?

A: Bilotti’s has been at this location since 1955. Karla purchased the business in 1995.
