Rochester Public Library is dedicated to providing the community access to information, literature and ideas. With over 400,000 materials for check out, including books, films, recordings and electronic media, the library is here to empower Rochester residents with access to information, and to enrich them with recreational materials.

The library also offers programs for all ages, and special services, such as reference, reader’s advisory, homebound delivery, bookmobile and Internet access.

Hours are 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM Monday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM Friday and Saturday, and 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM Sunday. Weekend hours are shortened in the summer to Saturday morning 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM and closed on Sunday. There is convenient parking in the civic center ramp with the first hour free during weekdays and free parking during evenings and on weekends.
