Rochester’s summer celebration is back June 4 – August 27

ROCHESTER, Minn.---May 1, 2015---Thursdays on First & 3rd (TOF) features a variety of live music on two
stages, the best food choices downtown Rochester has to offer, an eclectic mix of art, craft, and baked
good products, and new this year: Themed Thursdays.

TOF begins June 4 and runs every Thursday through August 27 from 11:00am to 8:30pm. The event will
be held on the Peace Plaza, down 1st Avenue, and Historic 3rd Street SW. In support of Rochesterfest’s
relocation to downtown Rochester, there will be no TOF June 25.
Live music and entertainment runs all day with performances at 11:30am, 5:00pm, and 7:00pm. All
performances will take place on the 1st Avenue Stage presented by Bremer Bank and the Peace Plaza
Stage presented by Best Ride, Inc.

Our Lunchtime Entertainment (11:30am – 1:15pm), presented by the Rochester Area Foundation, is the
perfect opportunity for lunch and live music with styles ranging from world music to contemporary.
Evening music is programmed in partnership with the City of Rochester Music Department/Riverside
Concerts and showcases a variety of local, regional, national, and international acts.

New This Year: Themed Thursdays
TOF 2015 will see the introduction of the first ever Themed Thursdays where select Thursdays during
the season will be transformed according to that week's special theme. Themes are:

June 11, RedBall Project Rochester; July 2, Red, White, & Blue; July 16, The Great Outdoors; July30, Wellness; August 6, Youth Day; August 20, Pay it Forward

The Downtown Sidewalk Sale will once again be incorporated into Thursdays on first & 3rd. Downtown
businesses will be offering unbeatable bargains beginning Thursday, July 23 – Saturday, July 25.
