Rochester Downtown Alliance encourages holiday shoppers to support downtown small business this holiday season

ROCHESTER, Minn. --- November 18, 2016 --- Small Business Saturday, a day to support local small business, is November 26, 2016, and the Rochester Downtown Alliance (RDA) is excited to continue to raise awareness about the day and why it is important to “Shop Small.”

Through “mini-grants” facilitated by the RDA, select downtown small businesses will be hosting special in store activities, deals, and sales during Small Business Saturday.  Grant recipients include: Collections Fashions, Friends’ Bookstore, Refashion Consigned Furniture & Clothing, Tangerine Gifts, The Nordic Shop, Lasker Jewelers, and Shops at University Square. Show your support on Small Business Saturday by taking selfies at local downtown small businesses and be entered to win a $100 gift card to a downtown business of your choice!
