Rochester Downtown Alliance Board of Directors is Changing
Rochester Downtown Alliance (RDA) recognizes two outgoing Board of Directors (BOD) members and welcomes six new incoming BOD members
ROCHESTER, Minn. --- January 11, 2016 --- The RDA would like to recognize Steve Courts, YMCA, and Mark Steege, Titan Development, for their seven years serving on the RDA Board of Directors.
“Thank you to Mark Steege and Steve Courts for their seven years of service to the RDA,” said Jenna Bowman, RDA Executive Director. “Both Mark & Steve have provided a tremendous amount of passion, commitment and expertise to the RDA,” she said.
Dan C. Aguilar, RDA Board Chair, also recognized Steege and Courts’ contribution to the RDA Board of Directors.
“Mark’s and Steve’s commitment and passion to our mission deserves recognition,” he said. “It has been an honor to serve with them at a professional level and privilege to call them friends.”
In addition to Courts and Steege’s departure, the RDA is excited to announce six new incoming Board members. Incoming members are:
Mark Currie, Co-Owner of Creative Cuisine
Jay Hesley, Chief of Staff - University of Minnesota Rochester
Jamie Radke, Controller, Titan Development
Patrick Seeb, Director Economic Development and Placemaking DMC/EDA
Jody Steffl, Vice President Private Banking, Bremer Wealth Management
Brad Smith, Rochester Public Relations & Member Services Manager - People's Food Coop
New Board members were selected after a call for applicants this past summer.
“The RDA was fortunate to receive a high number of qualified applicants for the Board of Directors,” Bowman said. “We are excited to welcome these six new Board members to the RDA. Each brings a unique perspective, skillset and area of representation. I am confident in their abilities to have an impact on the RDA and downtown Rochester,” she said.
The six incoming Board members will begin their term in January 2016.
