PlaceMakers | Rochester Prototyping Festival Pitch Night

Rochester, Minnesota - July 14, 2016 – Join the Rochester Downtown Alliance, Destination Medical Center, and the Rochester Art Center for PlaceMakers | Rochester Prototyping Festival Pitch Night on Tuesday, July 19 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Rochester Art Center (40 Civic Center Drive SE).

Urban prototyping is an approach to exploring innovative strategies for solving complex urban challenges and engages the community in testing ideas and demonstrating change.

Pitch Night will introduce a larger audience to the concept of prototyping and provide an opportunity for the prototypers to refine and clarify their project. Attendees will learn more about the inspiration behind each prototype and its interpretation of Health and the Built Environment. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage directly with the “Makers” (comprised of individuals and teams of up to 20 people) about their projects.
