42nd Annual “Here Comes Santa Claus” returns on Friday, November 25, 2016

Rochester, Minn.--- November 8, 2016---“Here Comes Santa Claus,” downtown Rochester’s favorite holiday tradition, returns Friday, November 25, 2016 for the 42nd consecutive year. The holiday magic kicks off at 6 pm. when Santa Claus is rescued by the Rochester Fire Department from atop Old City Hall.

Santa will then lead the parade of onlookers to the Peace Plaza where they will enjoy carolers from SkyVault Theatre Company before the much anticipated holiday tree lighting ceremony featuring Rochester Mayor Ardell Brede. After the tree lighting ceremony, follow Santa inside the Shops at University Square for a meet and greet and complimentary cookies.

Want to warm up before Santa’s rooftop rescue? Enjoy “Cookies & Cocoa” at Cambria Gallery, 400 South Broadway, from 4 pm – 6 pm presented by Cambria. Space is limited. RSVP by November 23 to JessicaMarkley@cambriaUSA.com.
