Modern meets vintage in Rochester’s fashion event of the season

ROCHESTER, Minn. ---August 17, 2015---The Rochester Downtown Alliance (RDA) presents, STYLE on the Plaza -- Downtown Rochester's premier fall fashion show happening Thursday evening, September 17, 2015, on the Peace Plaza in downtown Rochester.

This year, STYLE on the Plaza celebrates the revolution and influence of 1920’s fashion in a modern-meets-vintage catwalk experience complete with sparkle and glamour. The Fashion show features looks and styles from apparel, shoes, hair and makeup, and accessories from downtown stores, as well as looks from guest fashion designers.

STYLE on the Plaza gets you up close and personal with all of the season's latest fall fashion trends set alongside live entertainment -- available only in downtown Rochester. This year’s fashion show includes:

Happy hour: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Featuring the latest in hair and makeup trends, pre-show entertainment, and cash bar
Fashion Show: 7:30 p.m.
After Party! Select participating stores to remain open immediately following the fashion show
- Shops at University Square STYLE on the Plaza “After Party” from 8:30pm – 9:30pm
