2011’s ‘Welcome to Minnesota’ tour sold out for Minneapolis-bred hip-hop group, Atmosphere. With returns to midwest cities, including Rochester, this year’s tour looks to be another sellout. Atmosphere’s seventh studio release, The Family Sign (Rhymesayers Entertainment) harnesses front man Slug’s (Sean Daley) unparalleled prose and is considered the group’s most personal collection. For over 20 years, Atmosphere has been the Twin Cities’ hip-hope scene driving force.
